Pelin Kolat was born in Edirne in 1982. She graduated from Fine Arts Faculty at Marmara University. She won the second prize at Shankar's International Children's Competition in 1996. She has been working as a designer for private companies. She currently continues her work in her own workshop called "Pelin Kolat Design Studio".
