Eymen Gürtan was born in Istanbul in 1973. He is a graduate of Istanbul Technical University. He received training from Niyazi Sayın, Hüseyin Çelik and Aziz Acar. He gives classes at Yalova Municipality Conservatory and at Traditional Turkish-Islamic Arts Foundation. He has been continuing his artistic works since 1990.
