Burcu Demir was born in 1979. She was trained as a jewelry producer and designer. She studied marbling with Ayla Makas in 2001, and she continued her illumination studies that she started with Cemile Baybura. She took illumination lessons from Mamure Öz in 2005. She founded her own brand called Chandra. She attended many group exhibitions continues her works in her own workshop.
